....for those who don't get this....
I sucked my two middle fingers like this for way, WAY, WAAAAAY too long as a child (and by child I mean pushing adulthood).
Griffin has been "exploring" with his hands in his mouth. Usually it's an entire fist or random fingers, sometimes he actually finds his thumb and sometimes he finds these two jewels. (Ohhh, how they soothed me as a child. Memories....)
We're trying to not encourage the finger sucking and pull his hand away from his mouth often. We're fine with the paci option...figuring we can "lose" the pacis at the appropriate age. :)
Do you think Griffin may take after his cousin Harrison and be a longhorn fan? And by the way, Annie sucks two fingers and has since she entered this world! Are we in T-R-O-U-B-L-E too????

ReplyDeleteWe are going through this too...he is sucking his fingers and thumb, and we agree that we can probably eliminate the paci much quicker than the fingers when it's time! And I also sucked my finger for WAY too long...until I was in 4th grade!! Wow!
